July 15, 2020 - Having an interest in energy business keeps the EET alumni together. GGNI has scheduled a series of webinars to keep EET alumni informed about the developments in the Dutch energy sector.

July 23, 9AM (CST) - SBM Offshore

SBM’s young team wins Eco-Conception award at Monaco Energy Boat Challenge. Sustainability was at the core of this project from SBM Offshore E-Racing Team, in terms of the lifecycle of the cockpit, use of different materials as well as the propulsion system, which comprises standard components that can all be reused.

Sustainability is at the core of SBM Offshore’s business and SBM will inform the EET alumni about their recent developments in offshore renewable energy generation developments and about its developments in LNG to power.

We thank SBM’ Offshore's Jos Leo, Business Development Director EMEA, and Herve Cariou, Business Acquisition Director LNG, for presenting SBM Offshore’s latest developments in a very entertaining webinar, with a lot of interaction and discussion with participants.

August 20, 9AM (CST) - Multriwell & Hoffstetter

The Multriwell system is a patented method based on proven technology. The method was developed by a joint venture of two organizations with extensive expertise and years of experience in the field of capping constructions and gas extraction from landfills.
Hofstetter is the world’s leading specialist in gas treatment systems and enclosed gas combustion systems.

Together they successfully deliver landfill gas reclamation solutions in Russia, where sickening gas clouds from rubbish dumps have led to mass protests when 57 children became unwell and had to go to hospital from their school.

Jack Wammes, Managing Director Triplast Mineral Liners, and Eelco Linnert, Managing Director Hofstetter, will give an insight in the solutions to covert landfill into (bio) gas production and power generation units.
